old news but kokomo dreams have made a new actroid a couple of weeks ago. It looks like they went to try for appearance as much as possible.

and Ever-2 which they promised to walk apparently has
singing skills and better movement skills but broke down during
the singing act.

It seems as both companies have only tried to improve upper body animatronics and left out sensors installed in previous models completely, which I don’t understand. Trying to make them walk and explore using their sensors would make more sense, even if their movement is blocky and their facial expressions aren’t that great yet.
I have a tip for you. There is a story author that goes by the name of “DB Story” that writes stories about sex with robots (fembots). I think this is something that is right up your alley for mentioning on this site.

I don’t know if you saw the headlines but the Brit’s did a study on robot legal rights (Dec. 21 2006)you can google search (BBC legal robot) and find that on the BBC web site.

Not so much news on robots and or sex but so much on everything else.
