Just as men get tired of their real women (yes, and vice versa we know), they also can get tired of their silicone girlfriends. But what to do when you are done with them? It’s not like you can just send them out the door. What to do?

A man in Izo, Japan found out the hard way that it’s not really a great idea to dump her in a public area. The 60 year old, on the verge of moving in with one of his children, needed to rid himself of the love doll he acquired when his wife died. He says he did not have the heart to slice her up and put her in the trash dumpster. So, he wrapped her up in a sleeping bag and proceeded to dump her in a wooded area. This became a problem when someone stumbled upon the “corpse” and contacted the police, who vowed to pursue what they thought was a prankster until caught. Frightened, he turned himself in and now faces fines for violating Japan’s Waste Management Law, not to mention public embarassment.

It comes as no surprise to readers that we at SexRobot.com believe that sex with robots is in our future. But when? President of the International Computer Games Association, expert on artificial intelligence, and author of the new book “Love and Sex with Robots,” David Levy, says that in a few years everyone will be having sex with robots.

He cites that companies making lifelike dolls are fetching prices in the high thousands, and that they are adding sensory features like nipples that appear to react to pleasure. Mr. Levy believes that by 2050 sex robots will be having full and interesting discussions with us. We disagree with this timeframe, given the nature of exponential technological advancement; intelligent sex robots should arrive considerably sooner than that. Read Ray Kurweil’s excellent book, “The Singularity is Near” to better understand this concept.

While he suggests that some people will end up marrying their robot, he doesn’t seem that enthralled with engaging in carnal pleasures with a robot himself, given his statement, “If I had a robot I’d make it clean the bathroom and dust.” Maybe it depends upon what she’s wearing, David.

There’s some bad news today for those of you dreaming that you might one day enjoy a roll in the hay with highly-talented video star Paris Hilton: the hotel heiress has declined an offer to have a sex doll made in her image.

An outraged Hilton said: “I turn down perverted things, some sex things. Like a Paris Hilton blow-up doll … They were like, ‘They’ll sell for $50,000 each, it’ll be the real-life you.’ And I’m like, ‘I really don’t want a real-life me with anyone, anywhere. No!’”

At $50k a pop, we can only assume that the proposed sex machine would have been a fully-functioning cyberminx, ready and willing to perform for the cameras in One Night in RoboParis. Sadly, we’ll never know.
